YOUR ROLE

As a Sales Consultant at GRC Surgical, you will play a pivotal role in achieving and surpassing sales budgets by leveraging your sales skills, technical expertise, and exceptional customer relationship abilities. Your primary responsibility will be to represent GRC Surgical’s portfolio of surgical devices, which are essential in detecting breast cancers and other medical issues. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work closely with external customers, the sales team, operations, and sales support to contribute to our vision of delivering superior clinical outcomes for Australian patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed territory sales plans, managing expenses within the allocated budget. Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely completion of administrative tasks.
  • Sales Representation: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the product portfolio and key opinion leaders (KOLs) in your territory. Utilise GRC Sales (SPIN) methods and CRM tools to deliver optimal sales outcomes.
  • Territory Management: Develop and maintain an annual territory plan, keeping the CRM contact database current and accurate. Proactively identify business opportunities through tenders, contracts, bundling, and cross-selling.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full understanding and compliance with ARTG and AS4187 standards, maintaining regulatory and infection control standards for customers and internal staff.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety policies, proactively identifying and reporting any risks or incidents. Ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • GRC Values: Embody GRC values in all interactions, maintaining integrity, commitment, knowledge, and determination.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Surgical Sales Experience: Proven experience in surgical sales, particularly in the healthcare industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and disseminate technical information effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical abilities to prioritise tasks and achieve optimal performance.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present information clearly and confidently.
  • Self-Driven: Ability to work autonomously, showing initiative and proactive behaviour.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Clinical Background: Experience as a registered nurse or allied health professional, with relevant clinical or product knowledge.
  • Commercial Acumen: Previous commercial or sales experience, with strong business writing and account management skills.
