Reporting to the Sales Manager NZ, you will be working alongside a motivated and enthusiastic team. You will focus on the management, sales, margin, and profitability of a portfolio of existing customers in the Healthcare, Aged Care, and Accommodation sector. In addition to this, identifying and targeting new customers in this market using the relationships built within your professional network.
The core focus is to retain and grow the value of your existing portfolio and win new major customers. You will be responsible for improving the profitability of your existing customers and contribute to our 2021 Healthcare strategy. Having won a new customer, you will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing management and development of strong relationships with key decision makers to maximise the growth potential.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Sales, Margin and Profitable growth from both existing and new customers that meet Bunzl's "ideal customer fit" criteria
- Helping buyers to discover the value they can gain from Bunzl as a supply partner
- Developing relationships at multiple levels with key stakeholders of existing and new customers, and internally at Bunzl
- Working with Bunzl's Customer Profitability Program to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
- Actively seeking new business opportunities in line with the company strategy and direction
You have a natural curiosity to identify new opportunities that generate sales growth. You enjoy delivering high levels of Customer Satisfaction and are target focused. You have strong organisational and time management skills and can cope well with the multiple tasks and responsibilities that come with the fast-paced dynamic of Bunzl.
You have a sound commercial acumen and understand the cost of doing business and how this impacts our Customers and business profitability. You are able to work with a differentiated solution or product offer that focuses on innovation and specialisation.
The essentials we are looking for are:
- Proven history of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
- Experience with preparing annual budgets, strategic plans and new business proposals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
It would be ideal if you also had:
- Tertiary qualification
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
