About the role
The primary objective of this role is to lead and develop the Karratha Branch Sales and Operation staff in order to deliver improved revenue and margin growth locally, while you own the P&L, ensure effective inventory control and drive a strong safety focus.
You will direct the design and implementation of sales plans to drive profitable growth in both a hands-on capacity and by optimising the performance of our highly talented Sales team.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will use your well-honed leadership skills to bring the team together, influence key people both inside and outside the business, and engage directly with prospective customers to bring on new business.
Crucial to your effectiveness in this role is your previous success in sales and leadership, managing a business or branch, ideally within an industrial or safety-related industry.
You have strong relationship management and people management skills, demonstrated success in creating an enthusiastic and successful sales team, well-honed communication skills, a sense of urgency, a commitment to high levels of customer service and the desire to excel at what you do.
As a genuine professional, you are naturally customer-focused and results driven, and you understand that the success of the team is greater than the success of the individual.
Your ability to develop and implement strategic plans designed to increase market penetration and gross margin will see you build value for our organisation.
