WHY BUNZL?

As part of the Bunzl Group, Fire Rescue Safety Australia (FRSA) specialises in the supply and service of emergency response equipment across the Asia Pacific region. We work with customers who rely on quality equipment, responsive service and technical expertise when it matters most.

When you join FRSA, you’re joining a business with strong technical capability, a supportive team culture and the backing of a well-established global organisation. It’s a role with purpose, variety and genuine long-term opportunity.

YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Field Service Technician based in Erskine Park to provide installation, servicing, repairs, maintenance and technical support across a range of specialist emergency response equipment.

This is a hands-on role working both in the workshop and on site, supporting customers with reliable technical service and helping ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard. For the right person, this role also offers the opportunity to grow into a supervisory position over time.

  • Install, service, repair and maintain emergency response equipment
  • Carry out workshop and field-based technical work across NSW
  • Diagnose faults and deliver practical, timely solutions for customers
  • Ensure all work is completed to OEM and compliance requirements
  • Support strong service delivery through accurate reporting and job updates

ABOUT YOU

You’re a capable technician with solid mechanical or technical instincts, strong problem-solving ability and a professional approach with customers. You’re comfortable working independently, take pride in doing the job properly and want to build your career in a specialist service environment.

  • Experience servicing, repairing or installing technical equipment
  • Strong fault-finding skills and a practical hands-on mindset
  • Ability to work on site and in the workshop with minimal supervision
  • Confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Sound computer skills across systems such as Outlook, Word and Excel

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Experience with emergency response or specialist safety equipment
  • Mechanical fitter, trades or similar technical background
  • Prior field service experience in a similar environment
  • Leadership potential and interest in stepping into a future supervisor role
