YOUR ROLE
Are you an ambitious pro-active individual looking for a role that will allow you to develop your strategic sales and marketing skills? We are currently seeking a Channel manager to join our team at Beaver Brands. A Channel Manager role is responsible for effectively utilising Bunzl resources, inclusive of sales, product, marketing, and operations, to develop, implement and execute robust strategies and initiatives to grow the channel to market.
This role will also be required to leverage strong relationship management, and commercial business acumen, to influence key stakeholders both internal and external in the pursuit of Bunzl sales and margin objectives.
Your main responsibility will be:
- Responsible for the sales revenue and margin targets growth
- Develop existing and new channels and key corporate accounts working with resellers and buying groups.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key personnel within buying group Management, Marketing, and Field support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer Groups and Subgroups within Buying group Member network, to retain & grow revenue and margin.
- Create a strategy on how to retain and grow each existing customer’s sales.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll have that same entrepreneurial spirit that we live and breathe here at Bunzl, and the ability to influence and negotiate with our customers. You must possess an understanding of selling products in the Industrial market and associated channels, and organisational and communication skills to interact effectively with all areas of the business, build rapport, and deliver great outcomes.
You’ve already fine-tuned your relationship-building and negotiation skills from previous Sales/Marketing roles, where you successfully worked within a complex selling environment with multiple categories and multi-level relationships, both internally and externally. You have a pro-active attitude being a self-starter with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
The other essentials we are looking for:
- Full clean Australian Driver’s license.
- Highly motivated, pro-active and self-starting individual.
- Able to succeed unsupervised
- Able to travel for work
- Experience in merchandising and product go to market
- Intermediate computer skills, including all MS Office Application.
