YOUR ROLE
As a Production Officer / Store Person at Bunzl Safety and Lifting, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for manufacturing, testing, processing, and handling both customer and internal orders efficiently. This role operates on a Morning shift (8.00 am – 4.15 pm) at our Townsville branch, offering a stable and supportive work environment within a respected multinational company.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Operating plant and machinery post-training, such as wire rope press and re-wind machines.
- Loading and unloading goods, and ensuring the proper dispatch of customer orders to meet delivery expectations.
- Maintaining and replenishing stock levels, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
- Collaborating with team members and management to ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations.
ABOUT YOU
To excel in this role, you should be a proactive individual who is keen on developing your skills in a dynamic warehouse setting. Key qualifications and skills include:
- Experience in warehouse operations; rigging, splicing, and testing experience is highly regarded.
- A valid Forklift Licence, with high reach experience beneficial.
- Ability to effectively use RF Scanners and basic computer systems; familiarity with Pronto is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
