YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our internal stakeholders in reviewing, preparing, and negotiating contractual agreements with both customers and suppliers. This role is crucial to ensuring that contracts comply with company policies, legal standards, and industry best practices. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to maintain the accuracy and timely execution of contracts. We are open to considering new graduates who are eager to develop their career in contract administration.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
- Assist the sales and marketing team to review, prepare, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners, ensuring they align with company policies and objectives.
- Ensure all contracts and agreements are accurate, complete, and managed.
- Maintain up-to-date records, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, finance, operations) to address contract-related issues and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor the progress of contracts, ensuring timely execution and that all terms are adhered to.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual matters and assist to resolve any disputes or queries in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive contract information.
ABOUT YOU
- Attention to Detail: Ability to review contracts thoroughly, ensuring accuracy in terms, clauses, and documentation.
- Organisational Skills: Strong time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and contracts simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse contract terms, identify risks, and offer proactive solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work with various departments to ensure smooth contract management.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn new software, processes, and industry-specific practices.
- Basic knowledge of contract law or relevant academic coursework would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with contracts in the medical device industry would be an advantage.
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
Qualification/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience in a contract-related role is advantageous, but not mandatory for new graduates.
