YOUR ROLE:
• Maintain stock holdings at a level that is adequate to meet customers’ regular demands and known future variations
• Monitor slow moving and obsolete stock holdings, and take corrective action to minimise loss due to stock write-down, and prevent recurrence
• Meet or exceed agreed targets for stock turnover to optimise the investments in inventory holding
• Assist with the preparation, running and finalisation of the branch stocktakes
• Maintain high inventory levels target
• Facilitate effective communication between sales and customer service teams and attend Branch Supply Meetings
• Review controls for reclassed products
• Respond to queries from suppliers & branches
• Maintain all agreed documentation in an up-to-date accurate and efficient manner
• Other duties as specified by your manager

Having previously worked in a Purchasing / Inventory role, you will already have strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, amazing customer service, and natural ability to manage internal / external stakeholder relationships at all levels are also on your check list.
Other essential we require:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role
- Ability to prioritise, organise work and meet strict time deadlines.
- Ability to function at all times, even when under pressure, whilst at the same time ensuring that objectives are met.
It would be ideal if you had:
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
