YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing clinical, operational, and sales support to the Infection Management portfolio within DBM Medical. You will be given every opportunity to grow your career with us and make a sustainable impact.
Working as part of a small team, you will need to be results-driven to grow the existing business, combining hands-on clinical support with increasing exposure to sales execution, customer relationship management, and territory growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing in-theatre support and product assistance to surgeons and clinical staff
- Assisting with product usage, troubleshooting, and clinical best practice
- Supporting the Territory Manager in executing sales plans and account strategies
- Assisting in identifying sales opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Building and maintaining relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital stakeholders
- Developing strong knowledge of the Infection Management product portfolio, and staying informed on competitor products, clinical trends, and innovations
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, case activity, and sales data, as well as assisting with the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and forecasts
ABOUT YOU
This is a role supporting sales and working directly with New Zealand healthcare providers, impacting the lives of many New Zealanders. You are driven and motivated, a self-starter with a customer focus and a can-do attitude.
Reliable and enthusiastic, your excellent people skills enable you to achieve outcomes within required timeframes and expectations.
The other essentials we are looking for:
- Background in healthcare, medical devices, or a clinical environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop into a sales role
- Experience in operating theatres or clinical environments is desirable
- Understanding of infection prevention or wound care products would be advantageous
