YOUR ROLE
We are currently seeking an Imprest Stock Counter / Stores team member to support our healthcare customers across South Australia.
This is a hands-on role that combines customer site visits, stock counting, order placement, expiry checks, imprest store tidying and general warehouse duties. You will work closely with healthcare site contacts, customer service, sales representatives and the SA operations team to ensure customer stock levels are accurate, organised and maintained.
You will be involved in:
- Counting imprest stock at customer healthcare facilities on a regular schedule
- Checking expiry dates and helping maintain clean, organised imprest stores
- Placing orders or preparing order information in line with customer requirements
- Liaising with customer contacts, customer service and sales representatives
- Maintaining accurate file notes, records and required documentation
- Supporting receiving, picking, dispatch and general stores duties as required
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and in line with COR requirements
- Supporting stocktakes, continuous improvement and safe warehouse operations
- Travelling across metropolitan and semi-rural customer locations as required
ABOUT YOU
You will be organised, reliable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. You will have strong attention to detail, a customer-focused approach and the ability to manage scheduled customer visits professionally.
Healthcare, medical consumables or nursing-related experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to work accurately, communicate well and represent Atlas McNeil Healthcare in a professional and helpful manner.
You will bring:
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude
- High attention to detail and strong planning skills
- Confidence working autonomously across customer sites
- Basic computer skills, with Excel knowledge highly regarded
- Previous stores, warehouse, stock control or healthcare product experience preferred
- A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable transport
- LF forklift licence and warehouse qualifications highly regarded
- Willingness to complete required checks, training and compliance requirements
