YOUR ROLE
An opportunity has become available at Toomac Holdings as in a newly created role as a Sales Consultant/Field Sales person in our Ophthalmic Division. The key focus of this role is to promote and sell ophthalmic devices and pharmaceuticals to surgeons, hospitals, and optometrists.
You will work alongside a small team of committed individuals, providing quality ophthalmic medical devices to hospitals and surgical centres around New Zealand. The role will involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the ophthalmic community, conducting product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals as well as identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
It is field sales role ideal for a hardworking individual who wants to start a career in medical sales and eager to succeed.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll be a driven self-starter who has background in sales and/or customer service. Reliable and enthusiastic, you should have an ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders at all levels as well as be driven by achieving sales results and targets.
The other essentials we are looking for:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Driven by sales results and making a difference
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
