YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the General Manager Sales, the objective of this role is to lead Bunzl’s Victorian and Tasmanian Branches to deliver revenue and margin growth, whilst driving a strong safety culture, and manage financial performance with full P&L accountability.
You will direct the design and implementation of sales plans to drive profitable growth in both a hands-on capacity and by optimising the performance of our highly talented and large team.
You will use your well-honed leadership skills to bring the team together, influence key people both inside and outside the business, and engage directly with prospective customers to bring on new business.
ABOUT YOU
Crucial to your effectiveness in this role is your previous success in sales and leadership, managing a business or branch, ideally within a Healthcare, Hospitality, Facility Management or Processor and Industry related business.
You have strong attention to detail, great relationship and people management skills, demonstrated success in creating an enthusiastic and successful sales team, well-honed communication skills, a sense of urgency, a commitment to high levels of customer service, and the desire to excel at what you do.
As a genuine professional, you are naturally customer-focused and results-driven, and you understand that the success of the team is greater than the success of the individual.
Your ability to develop and implement strategic plans designed to increase market share and gross margin will see you build value for our organisation. Desirable to have managed a > 100mil AUD sales revenue portfolio before.
