 YOUR ROLE

As a key member of our dynamic marketing team, you will be the driving force behind our marketing initiatives. You will be working collaboratively with our Business Unit Managers, Product & Brand Managers, Graphic Designer and Digital Coordinator to develop and implement effective growth marketing strategies.

You will oversee and support the marketing team’s efforts ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities. You will be responsible for a range of tasks from analysing data and conducting market research, to managing product information and coordinating events. As a keen communicator you will play a vital role in connecting various stakeholders and suppliers, while optimising USL brands to be ahead of the curve.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute marketing tasks in collaboration with USL colleagues and external partners within an allocated budget
  • Ensure all material meets approved design policies and standards
  • Prepare marketing materials that promote USL’s brand, products, and services
  • Collaborate with the digital team to implement updates for USL websites to improve brand recognition, consistency, and accuracy of product listings and imagery
  • Analyse/identify emerging trends to develop a strong strategic approach
  • Assist in coordination and management of point-of-sale marketing materials with suppliers
  • Manage conference logistics, including ordering stock and promotional materials and managing sample bags
  • Manage social media giveaway activities including facilitation of hamper send-outs in collaboration with the customer service team
  • Assist in preparing marketing presentations, ensuring they are visually engaging and convey key messages effectively to external stakeholders
  • Measure the progress and impact of executed campaigns to foster continuous improvement

 ABOUT YOU

  • You possess a strong track record in marketing, with 1-3 years of hands-on experience driving strategic programs generating growth
  • Collaboration is your forte, demonstrated by your ability to work seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders
  • You are a creative person, with an eye for detail and ability to successfully manage every step of a marketing campaign to bring ideas to life
  • A commitment to corporate and environmental responsibility is evident in your actions and decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A Bachelor Degree in Business/Commerce/Marketing (preferred but not required)
