We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, with specialised product knowledge in the Safety Equipment, PPE & Workwear field to grow sales within the Western Region.
Reporting to the Western Regional Manager, you will look after your geographical region by selling to existing customers both face-to-face and virtually and develop new sales growth and new customers across the region. You will be required to adopt a strategic approach, being able to influence at all levels of the organisation, with your specialist knowledge to consistently grow profitable sales.
You will work with the tendering/contracts team to develop strategies, products and overall offering on tenders while working with the Inventory team on forecasting and minimizing stock obsolescence.
Your unwavering ethics will enable you to contribute to a diverse and respectable workplace, and results-oriented outlook will see you achieve goals while providing excellent customer service.
You have strong analytical skills as well as excellent interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and persuasion skills to win the hearts, minds and trust of your prospects.
The essentials we are looking for are:
- 5 years demonstrated experience
- Safety Industry background
- Current drivers license
