YOUR ROLE

As a Field Testing Officer (Mobile Service Technician), you’ll be part of a close knit team based out of our Yatala branch, responsible for inspecting, testing, and reporting on lifting and rigging equipment both in the field and in house. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support, with the opportunity to grow your skills in one of Australia's most respected safety businesses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical field advice to customers and identifying additional service opportunities.
  • Assisting with installations and supporting warehouse and production areas as needed.
  • Maintaining your equipment, vehicle, and work area to a high standard.
  • Travelling to client sites including mines, and working flexible hours when required.

You’ll enjoy autonomy in your work, backed by a supportive team and a manager who leads by example. Your work will help maintain safety standards across diverse industries and contribute to our strong service reputation.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a mechanically minded, hands on person who enjoys solving problems and working in dynamic environments. You may come from a production, manufacturing, mining, or construction background, and ideally have experience with lifting or rigging equipment. You value safety, teamwork, and take pride in doing the job right.

Here’s what will help you succeed in this role:

  • A mechanical or trade based background, preferably with rigging, dogging, or lifting equipment experience.
  • Rigger or Dogger certification/licence (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of WH&S regulations and safety practices.
  • Good communication skills — both written and verbal — for client interaction and technical reporting.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments, and assist in a variety of tasks including installations and warehouse duties.
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel and work outside normal hours when needed.
  • A strong team mindset and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive, technically driven business.
