YOUR ROLE
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service operations run efficiently and effectively. Predominantly field-based, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing PowerVac equipment across Western Australia.
This hands-on role requires strong technical expertise, a customer-focused approach, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with customers to maximise equipment uptime, minimise operational disruptions, and deliver exceptional service outcomes. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be a key contributor to PowerVac’s level of services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults across the full range of PowerVac products.
- Perform preventative maintenance, machine inspections, warranty and breakdown repairs for at customer sites.
- Complete all service-related documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring records are detailed and up to date.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to company procedures and safety requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of service issues.
- Provide professional and responsive on-site support to customers across Western Australia.

You are a proactive, organised, and mechanically minded professional who enjoys working in a hands-on environment. You take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, solving technical challenges, and providing outstanding customer service.
You are a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
- Mechanical trade qualification preferred.
- Proven mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- General computer literacy, including the ability to work with diagnostic and parts management systems (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a small, collaborative team.
- A positive, motivated, and customer-focused attitude with a strong "can-do" approach.
- Own tools and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
