YOUR ROLE
As an Account Manager within Bunzl New Zealand’s Process & Industrial team, you will manage and grow an established portfolio across the food processing, manufacturing and industrial sectors.
You will combine account management with new business development, working with production managers, procurement teams, warehouse leaders and business owners to deliver solutions that improve safety, efficiency and productivity.
You will represent a broad range of products, including:
- Packaging, pallet wrap, strapping and tapes
- PPE and industrial safety products
- Food-safe cleaning and hygiene solutions
- Manufacturing and operational consumables
- General workplace and industrial products
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and growing existing customer relationships
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Developing tailored customer growth strategies
- Preparing quotations, tenders and proposals
- Achieving sales and profitability targets
- Maintaining accurate CRM records
- Working with internal teams to deliver strong customer outcomes

ABOUT YOU
You are a proactive, commercially focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and identifying growth opportunities.
You will bring:
- Experience in account management, territory sales or business development
- A proven ability to grow existing accounts and win new business
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Commercial acumen and a solutions-focused approach
- Strong organisation and time management
- Experience using CRM systems
- Confidence preparing quotations, tenders or proposals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience in food processing, manufacturing, packaging, PPE, industrial supplies, warehousing, logistics, hospitality, facilities management or FMCG will be highly regarded.
